Josh cannot remember a time in his life in which he did not have a knowledge of the existence of God, but it was not until 2002 that he realized his need for a Savior. It was through reading the first few books of the Bible that God began to reveal to Josh that he could not earn his own salvation, because he had already fallen short. It was the holiness of God, through His perfect moral law, that brought Josh to his knees in repentance, and the great love of God in sending His son Jesus to pay the penalty for his sins that brought Josh to the cross in faith. Josh was born in Upper Michigan, and lived in several different parts of the country before settling in Oregon with his wife, Michaela. They have been married since 2010, and have a beautiful daughter, Moriah. They have been part of Family Church since they first moved to the area, shortly after they were married.
